The following terms and policies are in place to ensure a smooth, respectful, and seamless experience for all clients. By booking services with The Aphrodite Edit, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Booking & Retainer

A non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to reserve your event date. Your date is not considered secured until both the signed contract and retainer are received.

The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event date unless otherwise stated in writing.

 

Scope of Services

The Aphrodite Edit provides wedding and event styling services, including décor placement, setup, and breakdown using client-provided décor, as well as optional reception-only iPhone content creation.

Services do not include:

• Full wedding planning or coordination

• Timeline management

• Floral installation

• Rental procurement

• Vendor communication or management

Any services outside the agreed scope must be approved in writing and may be subject to additional fees.

 

Content Creation Policy

Content creation services are captured using a mobile device and are intended for personal and social media use only. This service is not a replacement for professional photography or videography.

Content coverage is limited to:

• Reception moments

• Styled décor and ambiance

The following are not included:

• Ceremony coverage

• Full speeches

• Formal documentation

• Directed posing or staging

Delivery timeline for content is 48–72 hours, unless otherwise specified.

 

Client-Provided Décor

Clients are responsible for supplying all décor unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. The Aphrodite Edit is not responsible for damage, loss, or wear to client-provided items due to:

• Venue conditions

• Weather

• Guest interaction

• Venue staff handling

 

Venue & Access

Client is responsible for securing venue access for setup and breakdown within the agreed timeframe. Delays caused by limited access, venue restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances may result in adjusted styling execution or additional fees.

 

Overtime & Additional Fees

Services exceeding the contracted time will be billed in 30-minute increments, adding $25 per every 30-minutes. Additional fees may apply for extended hours, additional setup requests, or significant changes made on the event day.

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Retainers are non-refundable.
If the client cancels:

• More than 7 days before the event: retainer is forfeited

• Within 7 days of the event: full payment is required

Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be approved in writing.

 

Force Majeure

The Aphrodite Edit is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, or venue closures. In such cases, rescheduling will be discussed when possible.

 

Image & Content Usage

The Aphrodite Edit reserves the right to use images and video captured during events for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless the client submits a written request opting out prior to the event.

 

Liability

The Aphrodite Edit is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses occurring during the event that are beyond our control. Clients agree to hold The Aphrodite Edit harmless from any claims arising from venue conditions, guest behavior, or third-party vendors.

Professional Conduct

The Aphrodite Edit values a calm, respectful, and collaborative environment. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all parties involved in the event maintain professional and respectful communication. Services may be discontinued if a safe and respectful environment cannot be maintained. Please refer to your contract for full terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking services with The Aphrodite Edit, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and policies.
